Meanwhile, about Taskin not playing in IPL and playing in DPL, Akram Khan said, Taskin is our three format player. He needs rest. Which is not available in IPL. In IPL many matches have to be played in 40-45 days. There are many journeys to and fro. Sometimes we play till 12 midnight and have to catch a plane again at 6 am the next day. There is a lot of pressure on the body.
Taskin has more injury problems than the former captain, More Ball, Mustafiz. This is what we think all the time. And Taskin is resting in DPL. It is important to give him rest if IPL and Dhaka League are concerned. Here I am getting 3-4 days rest in ODIs which I don’t get in India.
