Gleeson was the second highest wicket taker for Northamptonshire in the 2016 T20 Blast. Later, at the age of 34, he made his international debut in the England jersey in 2022. Whereas Gleeson took the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant in his first eight deliveries.
