Mustafiz got good news about IPL from BCB


Mustafizur Rahman is the only Bangladeshi playing in the ongoing IPL season. He is in great rhythm with the ball. This Bangladeshi pacer took 10 wickets by playing 5 matches for Chennai Super Kings in this season.

Mustafiz is also in the list of highest wicket takers of the tournament so far. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has given him a no-objection letter in the current season of IPL till April 30. In other words, Mustafiz is allowed to play in IPL till the end of this month.

But this time BCB has given him an opportunity to stay one more day. Chennai will play their tenth match on May 1. Mustafiz can play in that match to be held against Punjab Kings. If all goes well, he will play the match and return to Bangladesh on May 2.

Shahriar Nafees, assistant manager of BCB’s cricket management department, confirmed the matter to a national daily of the country.

Zimbabwe is coming to Bangladesh to play a five-match T20 series at the end of this month. The team will set foot in Dhaka on April 28. After that, the first match of the series will be held at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on May 3. Mustafiz will join the national team after returning from IPL to participate in this upcoming series.

The Fizz are having a great time with the ball. He played 5 matches in Chennai jersey and took 10 wickets. This left-handed pacer of the Bangladesh team is now at number 3 in the list of highest wicket-taker bowlers in IPL.

Jasprit Bumrah is second in the list of highest wicket takers in this year’s IPL with an economy average of 10 wickets. Juvendra Chahal tops with 11 wickets.
