HMD has announced its unique HMD Fusion Venom edition smartphone. For this, the company has joined hands with Sony Pictures’ Venom: The Last Dance movie. The company has dubbed the upcoming phone the “ultimate symbiotic phone.”. Let’s take a closer look at the new product teaser, possible specifications, and design.

Venom: The Last Dance film is slated to release on October 25. Fans of this movie series are eagerly waiting for the global launch of the HMD Fusion phone.
Like all special edition phones, the HMD Fusion Venom phone will also get a few changes. New colors, stock wallpapers, and new accessories may be added to the phone.
A teaser video posted via social media site X shows Venom (the symbiote) covering the phone. It is seen in shades of gray.
It may be offered in options like a flashlight module, a 5W wireless charging module, or a rugged or funky colorful case, just like the Venom Fusion phone.
The phone will come with features like an open-source Fusion Kit hardware-software kit and Gen2 repairability.
Specifications of HMD Fusion Venom edition
The HMD Fusion Venom Edition may have the same specifications as the vanilla Fusion phone. The specifications of this phone are given below.
- Display: The HMD Fusion smartphone has a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display. This screen can support 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness.
- Processor: For processing, this phone could be offered with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone can get up to 1TB of performance with the help of a microSD card. On the other hand the phone can work with Android 14.
- Battery: For power backup the phone may be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Wire Fast Charging supported.
- Camera: For photography, the phone may add a 108-megapixel dual rear camera and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
- Other: This phone may offer features like IP54 rating, side mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB Type-C port. The phone will come with technology for users to fix it themselves.
